The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and ABC have designed a new application for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch that will offer users a preview of their favorite celebrities leading up to and during award time.
The "Oscar Backstage Pass" iTunes app will give viewers an opportunity to see their favorite celebrities at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards on February 27th for $0.99.
According to Mashable, the link will offer users access to pre-interviews, videos and live red carpet arrivals from different camera angles. It will also provide over 24 camera views from behind the scenes during the show.
The interactive app is designed to give users control over their viewing choices and offer them a more personal experience, reports AppScout.
